Pennsylvania O-Linemen Names A Leader

The Wildcats offered Jason Kacinko early in the process. Get the latest and see where the Cats stand currently for the Pennsylvania Offensive Linemen.

The lack of new offers coming the way of Harrison City (Pa.) Penn Trafford offensive lineman Jason Kacinko has given the 6-foot-6, 300-pounder time to reflect. As a result, Kacinko now claims a leader. "I'd say that Maryland is towards the top of my list right now," remarked Kacinko. "They are the school I'm looking the hardest at. I went down there and everything about it, especially the coaching staff I felt really comfortable with them. It's just an overall great program. I'm still considering all the [offering] schools, but right now Maryland sticks out."

Things can get complicated though, with a new team possibly ready to add its name to an offers sheet that already includes Pittsburgh, Northwestern, N.C. State, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Louisville, Syracuse, North Carolina, and Maryland.

"UCLA said they were going to come out for a game and that they liked my tape," stated Kacinko. "They said they were probably going to offer."

Kacinko, who has visited the campuses of West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame Maryland, and Virginia, plans to ride things out and not commit until after all of his five allotted official visits have been taken.
