Braxton Kelly talks about his visit to Lexington

Braxton Kelly is a defensive lineman that some people would call a "tweener". His combination of height (6'1.5), weight (222) and speed (4.8) doesn't really put him as a top target at one specific position. With all that said, this kid is a player and he just continues to make plays.

Some teams like him at outside linebacker, some at defensive end and some think he could put on some weight and move inside to tackle. Braxton is coming off his first official visit to Kentucky. What did he think about the Wildcats and who are his top there?

"The Kentucky trip was pretty good," said Braxton Kelly. "I got to tour the campus, see the new dorms they are working on, meet the coaches and some players. It was a good visit for me. One thing I found out about them is they play freshman, that is a very good thing."

How does Kentucky fit into Kelly's favorites?

"They are up there with Virginia Tech and South Carolina. Those are my top three right now. All three have offered me and I just recently picked up another offer from Middle Tennessee State."

What is the timetable for his commitment?

"I plan on visiting my top three for sure and may take my other two also. I don't plan on having my mind made up until my visits are complete."

This Peach State defensive lineman has 5.5 sacks through the first four games and looks to add to that tonight as the number one ranked Grangers host Kendrick in a Thursday night contest.
