Kentucky TE Talks Recruiting

Zipp Duncan is a big tight end prospect from Elizabethtown High School in Kentucky that has seen his playing time cut short this year; that's a good thing for the Panthers.

"We're 5-1 on the season," said Duncan. "We played Moore last week and won 56-0. We had 42 points in the first quarter, so that's all I got to play was the 1st quarter."

Duncan has two teammates that are very good prospects as well, and they have taken in at least one game together.

"I've been to Marshall/Troy State, and I went to Kentucky/Louisville with my teammates Brandon Deaderick and Chris Todd. We got to go into the locker room before and after the game."

Who has been in contact with Duncan this month?

"I have the same offers right now: Marshall, Kentucky, and Cincinnati. West Virginia was the first school to contact me. I've also gotten calles from Vanderbilt, Stanford, Kentucky, Louisville, Marshall, and Cincinnati."

Any favorites emerging?

"I don't really have a Top 5 right now. If I had to name five schools they would probably be Louisville, Kentucky, Marshall, Alabama, and Cincinnati.

The coaches at Stanford have called me about setting up an official visit in December. I haven't set up a date, but I definitely want to go. I'd like to go on a visit to Alabama too, but I haven't heard from them this month."
