"We are trying to set up one with South Carolina," says the 6-foot-4, 200 pounder. "We pretty much have it down to two weekends, but not exactly sure yet. Either the third weekend or fourth weekend in January.
Brown plans to also visit his other two offers, Wake, Kentucky, and some other schools like NC State. He has only visited one of those schools, South Carolina, but he was able to see another college game. Brown, whose father Freddie Brown, Sr., is the running backs coach at Wofford College, saw the Terriers play as well.
"I saw my dad one weekend, and I saw the South Carolina/Georgia game, and those are the only games I've seen this year. I still want to go see Kentucky and Wake. I think I may go see the Kentucky/Alabama game, but I'm not sure when I can see Wake."
Byrnes, which was one of the top 25 teams in the nation until last week, has retribution on its mind, and Brown is a key figure on that team.
"I have 21 catches for somewhere around 300 yards. We had a bad week, so we have to pick it back up this week."
