Bama Receiver Takes in SEC Game; Cats still lead

The tall in-state recevier was at the Auburn vs. LSU game two weeks ago and talks about his trip and recruiting.

Mobile, Ala.--Aubrey Bell of Blount High School is one of the top receivers in Alabama, and currently holds offers from Mississippi State, Kentucky, and Louisville.

"I don't have any new offers yet," Bell said. "Coaches from West Virginia, Alabama, Auburn, and Mississippi State have been calling me. I have not called any coaches."

The 6-3, 205 pound wide receiver also says he is wide open with his decision.

"It is just all up in the air right now," he notes. "I want to go to a place not too far away from home and that has national respect. I will probably make my decision sometime after the season."

Bell adds that he recently got to check out his first college football game of the year. "I went to the Auburn-LSU game," the 6-3, 205-pounder says. "It was a good atmosphere and really exciting.

"I didn't get a chance to speak with any of the coaches, but I talked to Ronnie Brown, Carnell Williams, and Jason Campbell after the game," he added. "I don't know of any other games I am going to, except for the Iron Bowl."

Region play is underway in Alabama, and Bell is getting off to a great start this season.

"The season has been going good," he notes. "We are 1-1 in our region. We play at Wilcox-Central this week. I don't think they have won a game this year. I have been doing alright. I have around 17-18 catches with five touchdowns."
