With Kentucky's steady decline of late on the playing field, many expected the Cats to experience some sort of let down on the recruiting front. As of today, that is not the case.
, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound athlete from Louisville
(Ky.) Waggener has co-leaders for his services.
"I'd say right now that Kentucky and Boston College (9-10) are sticking out right now." Smith said.
"My favorites would be BC, Kentucky, Louisville, Indiana, Cincinnati and Ohio University. I'm going to visit Kentucky December 3rd and I have a visit set up with Indiana on December 10th."
Through five games in 2004, Smith rushed for 815 yards and he's also been playing cornerback on defense as well.
Smith said that he's being recruited as an athlete as some schools are saying he could play running back and others say cornerback or safety.
