"I'm talking to my family and my coaches a lot about it. I'm basically looking at all the schools that are recruiting me," says the 5-foot-10, 210 pounder who has not set any dates as of yet. "No, actually, my family, we are talking about narrowing it down to do that. It will probably take two or three weeks."
Davis says that there are no teams safe at the moment for receiving a visit.
"No, because I have not even really sat down and thought about the schools. I am focused on the season and my school. We are 4-2, and I have 1000 yards rushing."
Earlier this summer, Davis had this to say about his interest in the Wildcats;
"I like Kentucky," Davis told Inside Kentucky. "I like them a lot; ya know; it's a good school with a good football program."
Kentucky was one of the first schools to offer Davis in March.
"Coach Phillips has been recruiting me from the start," the senior-to-be continued. "He's a nice guy and he knows his stuff about recruiting."
Asked whether or not distance would be a factor in his recruitment:
"Distance will not be a factor. It really doesn't matter to me."
"I'll go to whichever school fits me. I will look at whether they have my major. I want to major in sports medicine or physical therapy. I will also look at the way I feel around the coaches and players."
Davis is not ready to name a leader, but he is closer to making a decision. "I think I'll probably make my decision sometime in October," stated Davis.
