"I am holding offers right now from Tennessee-Chattanooga, Coastal Carolina, Ball State, Valdosta State, Columbia and Charleston Southern," said Horne.
"Ole Miss came to my game last Friday and they called me to tell me they were very impressed. Coach Nunn told me they will decide this week whether to offer me or their other target. They are only going to offer one of us."
How did Horne feel he played in front of the Rebel Coach?
"I had a pretty good game before I got knocked out. I got hit from the blind side in the second quarter and received a concussion. I kept on playing until the doctors figured it out in the fourth quarter when I fell over when running to the sideline to get a play. I had a better previous week against Lovejoy when I threw for around 350 yards."
Who does Horne favor right now?
"Ole Miss is definitely my leader. If they offer this week, I may commit. After Ole Miss, it would be Ball State. They have been on me hard for a long time and are really wanting me to commit."
Tyler Horne received a mild concussion and whip lash in the Starr's Mill game last Friday and that will likely keep him out of his final high school regular season game against rival East Coweta. It looks like Horne will be back for the playoffs when Newnan will travel to either Lowndes County or Camden County.
