'Cats Make New Scholarship Offer Last Night

Ross Bogue is a big tight end out of Georgia that is beginning to turn heads of college coaches and is starting to get the attention he has worked hard for this season. That hard work has paid off as he has garnered that first offer. What SEC school offered Mr. Bogue?

"Kentucky offered me last night," said Bogue. "It was kind of unexpected. They came down to my school Friday and watched some tape and then watched our game Friday night, but I wasn't expecting an offer this fast."

Kentucky wasn't the only SEC school down in Georgia checking in on Bogue Friday…

"South Carolina came down too," said Bogue.

"They asked me to come up and visit them this weekend for their game against Tennessee. I plan to go visit them unofficially with teammate E.J. Adams this weekend."

What other schools are showing major interest in Bogue?

"Vanderbilt, Kent State, Georgia Tech and a few other schools."

Does the Georgia Tight End have a favorite?

"I would say Duke, Kentucky and South Carolina are my top three right now, but I am open to the others that are recruiting me also."

Ross Bogue has 24 receptions for 245 yards and one touchdown so far this season. Bogue is an athletic tight end that has benefited from the new spread offense brought in by first year Head Coach, Dennis Roland.

Coach Roland says, "If he would have been in this offense last year, then he could have gone pretty much where he wanted to."

The name Ross Bogue is beginning to leak out and he is a major prospect to keep your eye on throughout signing day right here at Scout.com.
