Breaking News: Lady Cats Add Another Recruit

North Hardin senior Jenne Jackson gave a verbal commitment Wednesday night to second-year coach Mickie DeMoss after the coaching staff watched her workout.

Jackson, a 6-foot-1 small forward/power forward prospect, can't sign a letter of intent until Nov. 10, the first day of the early signing period.

"It worked out so good for me," Jackson said to the The News-Enterprise. "It's really, really great because I get to stay close to my family and it's a very good school. I'm so excited."

Jackson chose Kentucky over St. John's, Cleveland State and Toledo.

Jackson had previously wanted to verbally commit to Western Kentucky, but her scholarship was pulled after another player committed instead.

Jackson joins Carly Ormerod, Shana Andrus, and Kasi Mullins Galloway as players that have given an early commitment to the Cats in '04.
