RECRUITING: 'Cats could have big company for Stull

One of the most underrated quarterbacks in the country might be receiving interest from Florida State. What's the latest from the 6-foot-4 and 190 pound standout from Pittsburgh (PA) Seton-LaSalle?

My coach is telling me that Florida State has called and requested film," Bill Stull said. "Right now I am just concentrating on the playoffs but if FSU were to offer or show more interest I would definitely make an official visit there."

Right now the three schools that are showing the most interest are Kentucky, Ole Miss and LSU.

"Kentucky calls me each week," he said. "They were the first school to offer."

Others schools to offer him are Wisconsin and North Carolina.

Stull has led his team to a perfect 12-0 record by passing for 2,872 yards and 36 touchdowns. His completion ratio is an impressive 63%.

Next week Stull and his teammates will take their No.2 ranking in the state up against the No.1 ranked team in the state for the WPIAL Class AA Championship.

What does he think his strengths are on the field?

"I'm pretty good at play-action and rolling out to throw," he said. "I can manage the offense and can do about everything. However, I can get better."

Stull is a big fan of Indianapolis star quarterback Peyton Manning and he watches closely each Sunday.

"I watch him play every week," he said. "I try and watch him closely in order to pick things up. He's amazing."
