RECRUITING: Another Ohio Commitment Coming?

A talented 6-foot-2 linebacker from Maumee (OH), Brad Goatley has seen his stock rise since his regular season concluded.

"We lost in the second round of the playoffs," Goatley said. "But we did real well, finishing 8-2 in the regular season."

Goatley lists Kentucky and Ohio State as his leaders, but says the Buckeyes have not shown much interest or extended the scholarship.

"Ohio State hasn't offered yet," Goatley said. "If they would - then I would go there - but right now they aren't showing much interest."

According to Goatley, the Wildcats have offered him a chance to play middle linebacker and he'll visit the Wildcats in January.

"I didn't go on an official visit to Kentucky, but I went down there to watch them play Georgia," the Maumee native explained. "It was a good time. I had a lot of fun."

"I've thought about (committing) but I think I am gonna wait it out for now," Goatley said. "Keep my options open."

Goatley currently sports an impressive list of offered that include Bowling Green, Miami of Ohio, Kent State, Ohio, Toledo, and Kentucky.

"I've got (an official visit) Kent State on the 3rd (of December), Miami on the 10th (of December), and BG in January," he stated. "I will probably decide after I take my official visits."
