RECRUITING: Big DL says UK to offer if he visits

Imperial (PA) West Alleghany defensive tackle C.J. Davis (6-3, 275, 5.3) has received several new offers to add to his already impressive list of schools. According to Davis, his offer list is now up to five as he has now added an offer from Toledo and North Carolina.

"I'm receiving a lot of interest in Michigan State, Wisconsin, Pittsburgh, and Boston College as well," Davis stated. "You can add Kentucky to that list too - they are showing real heavy interest right now."

More offers could be on the horizon for the talented defensive tackle as indicated by some of the schools currently recruiting him hard.

"Michigan State, Wisconsin and Kentucky basically told me if I come to visit - they will offer," Davis said. "Kentucky definitely told me that they will offer if I come in for a visit."

"I will probably set something up with them - I'm real interested in them (Kentucky)," Davis stated. "They are recruiting me for defense - mainly nosetackle."

Davis has already set one visit to a Big Ten counterpart.

"I've got Indiana on December 10th," Davis said, "and I'll set something up with Wisconsin and Michigan State."

As far as leaders?

"I would say Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan State, and Pittsburgh lead right now."
