After several attempts to reach the family, Inside Kentucky was lucky enough to check in on the Price (Utah) native tonight.
"Things are going well, as far as I know," Jorgensen's mother stated. "They aren't allowed to talk on the telephone and he doesn't have his cell phone, so as far as I know things are going well."
Jorgensen communicates with his family through letters.
"He returns from his mission on July 21rst," Ms. Jorgensen said. "He's still very excited about becoming a Wildcat and is very much looking forward to his future at Kentucky. That's been the place he's wanted to go and he's always been talking about going there."
"As far as I know," she concluded. "He'll be heading there next fall."
Jorgensen played defensive end at Carbon High School in Price (UT), earning Class 3A all-state honors as a senior. He projects as a strongside linebacker with the Cats.
