RECRUITING: 'I can see him playing on Sundays'

Atlanta (Ga.) Douglass High School has some talented prospects this season. One player committed to the Kentucky Wildcats last Wednesday. That player, offensive tackle prospect James Alexander.

"He's got long arms, great footwork and lots of upside," said Douglass assistant coach Derrick Frazier. "He graded out around 89% this season as our right tackle. He just needs to get bigger and stronger."

Alexander, 6-5 and 245 pounds, has played on the varsity for three seasons and started the last two.

"James Alexander has a great attitude," he said. "He's got great grades and he's just a great kid."

Alexander committed to UK over North Carolina and Mississippi State.

"He should be a very good player for Kentucky and I can see him playing on Sundays one day."
