RECRUITING: Wildcat Commitment Back From Visit

The Wildcats entertained 8 players this weekend on official visits and 2 of them reside from Suwanee (GA) and North Gwinnett High School. See what the Wildcat commitment had to say about his visit to Kentucky this weekend.

"The visit went really really well," Ross Bogue said. "As a matter of fact, we just pulled up not too long ago."

The 6-foot-6, 250 pound prospect said the visit reassured his desire to play for Kentucky; "I'm 100% committed," Bogue said. "I needed to see the campus again and going there this weekend just made me realize that UK is exactly where I wanna be."

Bogue helped lead North Gwinnett to a 9-3 record as a senior, catching 28 passes for 300 yards and one touchdown.

"I met a lot of cool guys," Bogue continued. "E.J. (Adams) came up with me and there were eight - including us - taking visits. We toured the campus and saw the Nutter Center. The facilities are outstanding and I enjoyed meeting alot of the guys. They were real down to earth and I enjoyed my time with all of them."

With the official release of Joker Phillips' promotion, Bogue had this to say about the new offensive coordinator: "I think we're all excited about it. We all know there's not gonna be much change to the offense and that is what attracted me to Kentucky."

Bogue said the Wildcats have made it clear, he'll be strictly an offensive lineman at the next level.

Asked if fellow North Gwinnett teammate and current Wildcat prospect, E.J. Adams was headed to Lexington as well: "Umm, I'm not sure," Bogue said of Adams' choices. "He didn't commit yet, because he's gonna wait and take some more visits, but I know he had a good time."

With other commitments pondering opening up their recruitments after the Wildcats struggles, Bogue quickly shot down the thought of starting things over. Bogue, whom also receiving interest from Duke, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, Louisville and Auburn, said he's not interested.

"No way," said Bogue. "I'm not taking anymore visits or anything like that. I'm 100% Wildcat."
