"I still like Virginia Tech," Davis said. "Nothing's really changed. I've still got the same schools recruiting me as last time we talked."
"Virginia Tech has been my only visit and I loved it up there," Davis said. "I got a chance to meet with the players and the coaches. They like to run the ball alot and their running backs coach said they really need me and I am a perfect fit for them."
Davis said he doesn't have any more visits scheduled, but is looking to take some more before decision time. In particular, two schools currently recruiting him the hardest: Alabama and Mississippi State.
""I haven't really scheduled any more official visits," Davis said. "I had talked with some schools about scheduling in the past but I am unsure if I will go. I know I will take some more official visits before deciding."
"I had (a visit scheduled) to Tennessee, but I don't even know if they are recruiting me anymore. They were my top school at one time, but I don't know what happened with them, they just haven't been in contact with me."
Kentucky was rumored to be a school that could become a player in his recruitment since the recent commitment of his offensive tackle James Alexander; "I mean, I talk to Coach Phillips alot. I wanna go check them out but I would probably have to cancel my trip to Tennessee. "
Davis plans to take all five official visits, but he does say, "If I get on a visit and feel like this is the place for me, then I could go ahead and commit."
