RECRUITING: Interest picking up for Scott Co. WR

Georgetown (KY) native William Lewis led Scott County to the state championship game this past weekend and is now ready to focus his attention towards his recruitment.

"Nothing's really changed," Lewis said. "Marshall, Pittsburgh, and Minnesota are still my top schools."

Louisville and Kansas State round out his top five. Marshall is the only school to have offered in his list.

"My coach talked to Joker Phillips and he came to my state game and watched me play," Lewis said.

Asked if this could be a sign that the Wildcats were leaning towards an offer; "Umm, I'm not sure. They wanted some more highlight tape on me and they've been in contact."

Marshall: They are my leader. They are moving to Conference USA and its a great opportunity for me. It's a great school and they are an almost garuntee to make it a bowl every year."

Minnesota: "I don't really know much about them, but I do know they run a similar offense to the one we run at my high school.

Pittsburgh: "They throw the ball alot and are playing in a BCS game, I think Utah. They are an almost garuntee to make it to a bowl game every year."
