JUST IN: Here comes UK; 'Cats a leader for Logan

Kentucky linebacker Brandon Logan (6-1, 210, 4.7, Scout.com's #30 linebacker, 4 stars) now says Michigan (12/3 official trip), Tennessee (11/26) and Kentucky lead solidly over Clemson and Louisville.

"I'm still weighing it out between all three schools as to who my leader is," says Logan, from Lexington Catholic. "I'll know who it is after I take my official visits, which will probably be in the next couple weeks.

"My trip to Michigan went really well. I got to hang out with the players, and I related well to them and stuff.

"Chris Graham (inside linebacker) was my host. We hung out with each other some as well as with some of the other players. He showed me around the campus and the dorms.

"The highlight of the trip was getting to hang out with the players and stuff.

"Michigan has a young team and I believe they had a great season, and they're only going to get better. They've also got a great winning tradition.

"I really like coach (Jim) Herrmann (linebackers) because of his honesty with me. He's been recruiting me the whole time and we've got a good relationship with each other.

"Tennessee plays in a great conference, and they've also got a great winning tradition. And there's some great game day atmosphere there too.

"I like the academic support they have. And they've got a pretty young up-and-coming defense there too.

"Kentucky also plays in a great conference. I was born here and I've been here all my life. It would be pretty neat to play for my home team. I kind of grew up following them. I must say that I'm excited for my visit coming up.

Logan will officially visit Kentucky this weekend (12/11).

Final SR (9-2) stats: 100 tackles/5 sacks/3 FC/2 FR

2.5/17 ACT/Dec 11 retake--"I'll be taking the ACT again before I leave for my official visit with Kentucky."
