Logan: Will Listen to UK

Lexington Catholic (Ky.) linebacker Brandon Logan (6-1, 210, 4.7, Scout.com's #34 linebacker) has committed to Michigan (12/3 official visit) over Kentucky (12/10) and Tennessee (11/26).

"I committed to Michigan last Wednesday (12/15)," says Logan. "I narrowed down my schools to Michigan, Kentucky and Tennessee, and in the end I felt that Michigan is where I felt the most comfortable. The coaches have been recruiting me since I was a sophomore, so they were very excited to get me.

"This is a 100% commitment and I will not take any other official visits.

"I've grown up in Kentucky my whole life and I'm ready to do something different. They've got a great program with some great players, and they're going to make me into a great player too. I want to compete against great athletes and all that.

"I'd anticipate that Kentucky might still come after me. It's not like I'm going to turn their calls down, but I'm pretty set on where I want to go.

"When I was on my official visit to Michigan I got to see some of their film on linebackers. They run a similar system to what I'm already used to from high school. I think I can adapt to it well especially as I get quicker, stronger and faster."
