The talented senior quarterback returned from his visit to Maryland over the weekend and has decided to finally the pull the trigger. Stull had been receiving a lot of interest from Ole Miss, LSU, and Florida State, in addition to North Carolina State, LSU, and Maryland.
The Wildcats of Kentucky, however, had his firstofficial visit on December 10th.
Asked what stood out about his visit to Kentucky: "The players - I met some awesome guys this weekend, one in particular, Dicky Lyons (chuckles). We hung out a lot. I got his number so I now can call him throughout the week if I have questions. All the guys were pretty cool."
"I felt very comfortable," Stull added. "One thing that was really cool was a lot of (the players) told me that even if I didn't come (to UK), they would still want me to come visit them and party with them."
Stull for the season, completed 239 of 387 for 3310 yards and 40 touchdown's. He also rushed for 6 scores, while completing 62% of his passes in 2004.
Stull finished his season as the first quarterback in WPIAL history to pass for over 3,000 yards - a statistic even Joe Namath, Johnny Unitas, Dan Marino, Mark Bulger and a host of other great quarterbacks could not do.
