Scouting Report: Bill Stull

Bob Lichtenfels, <i></i>'s eastern United States recruiting analyst, reviews his notes and compiles his in-depth scouting report on new Wildcat verbal commitment, Bill Stull.

Bill Stull
6-4, 195
Pittsburgh (PA) Seton Lasalle

His touch is superior to most high school QB's. He knows when to take something off the ball and he can thread the needle when he needs to. Mobility is a plus for Stull as well, he is a legit mid 4.6 to low 4.7 type of kid. He is a leader, which can override a lot of flaws in any QB, and he makes those around him better

Billy needs to get thicker. That will come when he gets into a solid strength and conditioning program. Experience is also a factor, as Stull basically only started two years of varsity football, so I believe his best is yet to come. Working with Coach Roper is going to do wonders for his future. Stull needs to improve his decision making, which he improved dramatically from his junior to senior year. Once again that will improve with experience. Early on it seemed like Stull was locked in on one receiver as he became more experienced he learned how to use the whole field and all of his options.

I think the best option for Stull would be to red shirt, get a year of strength training and development under his belt

I think the skies the limit for Stull. I would hope he redshirts and gets that year of learning under his belt. He needs to add 15 pounds on to his frame, and work on his progression reads. If he does that, I truly believe he'll be a big time college QB.
