Peach State ATH likes UK

Terrance Ransom is a quality quarterback in Albany, GA that has been a tough guy to track down all season. Scout.com finally caught up with the athletic signal caller at the Georgia GACA North/South Combine over the past week and he gave us this short update on his recruitment.

"I like Auburn, Kentucky, Clemson, Hawaii and you know I've got to say Albany State and Valdosta State also. Albany State, Valdosta State, Clemson and some other smaller schools have offered me a scholarship," Terrance Ransom said.

When Terrance sits down to come to a final decision, what will he base his choice upon?

"I'm looking for a place that will just help me play and graduate from college. Those are the main things."

Ransom is beginning to schedule his official visits.

"I've just set one visit so far and that's to Troy State on the 14th of January. I'm supposed to speak to Clemson about a visit sometime next week also."

Although Ransom is just now emerging to some fans across the south, he has been widely mentioned in Peach State recruiting circles since the beginning of the year. In 2004, he racked up nearly 2,500yds through the air.
