Fla. LB Makes Commitment

Apopka Linebacker Marvin Peoples was one of a handful of recruits that were still left in limbo since the commitment of Georgia native Sam Maxwell. Instead of taking a chance, Peoples went ahead and pulled the trigger

"I went ahead and committed to Central Florida," Marvin Peoples said. "It's just the best thing for me to do. I was planning to go up to Kentucky next weekend but I haven't heard from them since before Christmas."

In the end, the chance to stay at home and play close was the deciding factor for Peoples.

"Central Florida is an and coming school and I can see myself getting a chance to play early," Peoples said. "It's close to come and I just feel comfortable there."

Peoples had offers from South Carolina, Kentucky, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Georgia Tech among others, but chose the Knights in an upset.
