'Cats making a move for state's best

Louisville, Kentucky four-star defensive lineman plans to take one final official visit before making a commitment. Which teams are battling for the final visit? Scout.com has the latest on the prize recruit in this recruiting update

The 6-foot-3, 265 pound prospect will participate in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl game next weekend. "I leave tomorrow for the All-American game in San Antonio. I will be gone until next Sunday," McKinney told CUTigers.com. The talented defender expects to play defensive end in next weekend's All-American game.

On the recruiting front, the Kentucky standout is not ready to go on record with a leader. "No, I don't have a leader. It's still Michigan, Nebraska and Clemson as my favorites," said McKinney.

McKinney plans to take one final official visit before making a decision. "I will wait until after my last visit to make a decision. I may visit Oklahoma later in January. I had a visit set with them, but I haven't heard from them in a while. If I don't go there I will take the final visit to Florida or Kentucky."

The Clemson coaching staff paid visited Louisville this week to meet with the prize recruit. "Coach Napier and Coach West came to see me. It went good. They showed me some film of how they use their defensive linemen and stuff like that. It was good"
