RB Mike Davis
5-10, 210, 4.5
Columbia High School
Columbia, South Carolina
The 5-foot-10, 210 pound prospect will be traveling to Clemson for an official visit this weekend. "I'm going up on Friday. My mom is coming with me," Davis told CUTigers.com.
Davis made the short trip to the University of South Carolina last week to meet with Coach Steve Spurrier. "It went good. We just talked about the offense and academics," Davis.
The star running back ran into one of his Shrine Bowl teammates in Columbia last weekend. "I talked with Hivera Green this weekend when I saw him up at South Carolina."
Davis is also excited about seeing some of his Shrine Bowl teammates at Clemson this weekend. "I'm looking forward to seeing them. I can't wait."
The prize recruit told CUTigers.com last week that he was getting close to making a commitment, but now he is planning to hold off. "I will wait a little longer. There is really no reason. I just want to take all of my visits first," Davis said.
The starting running back for the Sandlappers is looking closely at the depth charts and recruiting classes for his favorites. "Yes, I'm watching that," stated Davis.
We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding running back from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2005.
