<b> –</b> It's impossible to narrow down the best player ever out of the Los Angeles area. Paul Westphal, Gail Goodrich and Marques Johnson are three players worthy of consideration. Three good ones for the future are Amir Johnson, James Keefe and Taylor King.

Area Overview

The Los Angeles area produces multiple high major prospects every year and the current crop of upcoming players looks to be fairly strong. As is becoming the norm, wings are plentiful and point guards are in short supply. The sophomore class may end up being the best one out of the group.
