Camden High School

The 6-foot-3, 175 pound prospect will be one of the top defensive backs in the Palmetto state next season. "I don't have any offers just yet," Harris told CUTigers.com in a recent interview. "But Virginia Tech is showing the most interest right now."
When asked if he has any early favorites, Harris responded, "I don't really have any favorites right now. I obviously like Virginia Tech since they are showing me the most attention right now. I can tell you this. I wouldn't mind getting in that bus at Death Valley and riding around to the hill," said Harris.
Harris already knows what he will be looking for when he decides on the college of his choice. "I will look to see which one will benefit me the most academically. I will also be looking to see where I can get playing time. Those are probably the two most important factors.
"I played strong safety this year. I am trying to convince my coach to let me play free safety next year. I'm not sure how many tackles I had but I know I had two interceptions."
The Camden standout is not sure where he will camp at this summer, but he does plan to be active.
"I haven't really given it much thought. I wouldn't mind going to Clemson though. I also want to go to Virginia Tech and some other schools around the south tha are showing me interest.
"I've been hitting the weights real hard this year. I also am working with my running back coach to help me with my footwork," added Harris.
What are the strengths of the Camden High defensive back? "My strength is my vision on the field," said Harris. "I am also a good hitter. I can mix it up with anybody."
We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding defensive back from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2006.
