The George Washington Colonels enter Friday's meet with a 5-3 record, having claimed third place at the George Washington Invitational last weekend. The Colonels have not tallied a team score higher than 191.625 this season, and are being led by junior all-arounder Erin Aiken who averages a 37.650 this season on the four events. George Washington's leading event is the vault, where it scored an event-high 48.275 last weekend.
The Ball State Cardinals come to Lexington with a 2-7 record on the season after falling 194.775- 190.225 to Kent State on Friday. This weekend's quad meet marks the second of a four-game road trip for Ball State. The Cardinals' patented event is the floor exercise, where they scored a 49.050 last weekend en route to the floor title. Senior Kelli Davis leads the team on the all-around, notching a career-high 38.975 last season.
The Ohio State Buckeyes are coming off of a season-high 194.775 score this past weekend and enter the quad meet with a 2-4 record. Junior Kaylin Schlecht posted a career-high 9.900 on bars to finish first in tri-meet between the Buckeyes, Oklahoma and Illinois State last Saturday.
