WR Lamarcus Boswell
6-0, 165, 4.4
Greenville High School
Greenville, South Carolina
The 6-0, 165 pound prospect will have the nation's best schools visiting Greenville over the next year after an unbelievable junior season. "I had over 2100 yards receiving and 130 receptions last year. I had 24 touchdowns in the air and four rushing touchdowns," Boswell told CUTigers.com in a recent interview.
The Greenville High standout has picked up his first offer, but expect that list to grow quickly over the next few months. "I have an offer from Kentucky. I am also getting interest from Southern California, Miami, Florida State, South Carolina and many more," said Boswell.
When asked if he has any early favorites, Boswell responded, "I wouldn't mind going to Southern California, Florida or South Carolina."
One of the things Boswell will be looking for is early playing time, but that shouldn't be a problem no matter where he decides to go. "I want to play my first year. I will also be looking at how I fit in with the other players," said the junior star.
The strengths are numerous for this star receiver. "I can read the whole field. I am also good at getting off press coverage. But I want to work on my speed. I want to get even faster."
Don't expect a decision from the star receiver until close to signing day. "I want to wait and take all my visits. I want to see how everything is before I make a decision."
We will continue to keep you updated on this outstanding receiver from South Carolina, right up through signing day 2006.
