Report: 'Cats Land Baseball Commit

The Wildcats have picked up some outfielder help for next season, as the Wildcats reportedly landed a commitment from outfielder Timmy Wimsatt from Daviess County High School as told to the Messenger-Inquirer.

"The coaches said they've only got five outfielders and one is graduating, so I have a chance to play a lot my freshman year," Wimsatt said.

Wimsatt hit .436 his junior year with an on-base percentage of .584 and a .538 slugging percentage. The center fielder had 26 stolen bases and got caught just three times. "
