Barr Sets Two Visit Dates

Jeremy Barr is getting serious about his recruitment. He's got two visits planned and a 3rd in the works. Barr's high school coach gives us a peek into his recruitment.

Jeremy Barr, a 6-foot-7+ center out of Westbury Christian in Texas is a full qualifier and a hot spring target. He's made strides with his game this season and recruiters from major conference programs want him to continue his development under their tutelage.

According to Greg Glenn, his high school coach, Barr will visit Texas Tech the weekend of March 5th and Southern Cal the very next weekend. Colorado has a tentative, but unconfirmed visit set for early April.

Cincinnati came to watch him on Feb. 15th. Arizona State and Oklahoma State have done a lot of work with him and are in contention for an official visit.

Kentucky began checking up on him regularly and they are interested but haven't advanced their recruitment of him in the fashion others have.

Barr, who owns maybe the biggest hands this analyst has ever seen, continues to improve his game.

"You're talking about a guy that's still growing in the game," Glenn said. "He's getting more comfortable and it's been fun watching him evolve from someone who was finding his way to now where we're running everything through him. He's getting better every game. The more he plays the better he's going to get."
