Strongsville (Ohio.) offensive lineman Chad Schofield, 6-3 and 322 pounds, recently returned from his second visit to Pittsburgh. Schofield, was one of approximately ten prospects who were on hand for spring practice.
"It was a very upbeat practice, everything seemed real intense," Schofield said.
The Strongsville standout also attended a recent junior day at Pittsburgh, where he was offered his first and only scholarship offer to date.
"I loved it at Pittsburgh, the facilities were great, and the coaching staff was great."
Don't expect a real quick decision from Schofield; he is planning a few spring ventures in the upcoming weeks.
"I may hit a spring practice at Michigan, maybe spring games or practices at Kentucky, Ohio State, and Michigan State.
Does Schofield anticipate a Wildcats offer?
"They seem to be showing a lot of interest in me right now," Schofield said.
Schofield is unsure whether he will attend any combines in the spring; he has been invited to the Scout.com/U.S. Army All-American Regional Combine at Akron. Schofield attended the U.S. Army All-American Junior Combine in San Antonio, Texas back in January. He may also perform at a few college camps this summer.
"I'll probably go to Ohio State, Michigan, and Pittsburgh summer camps," Schofield said.
