Wildcat Lodge rape allegation identifies Hayes

The Lexington Herald-Leader is reporting that the agent for Kentucky basketball player Chuck Hayes has been notified of the police investigation into Hayes involvement in a rape investigation that allegedly took place on April 20 at Wildcat Lodge.

Bill Duffy, an NBA agent who represents NBA players Yao Ming, Tayshaun Prince, Carmelo Anthony and others as well as Chuck Hayes, has indicated that he has been informed of a police investigation involving Chuck Hayes, the Lexington Herald-Leader reported today.

The investigation centers around an alleged rape that occurred at Wildcat Lodge on April 20 between 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Lexington police have not yet identified a suspect, citing division policy and against the wishes of the city's legal department.

Chuck Hayes was recently named "Mr. Wildcat" at the athletic department's CATSPY Awards. He was a starter at Kentucky for parts of four years and recently completed his eligibility in a double overtime loss to Michigan State in the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight.
