According to Scout.com, your official home for breaking commitments this year, Lashun Watson received a visit from two Kentucky football coaches yesterday and decided to pull the trigger.
The 6-foot-5, 195 pound wide receiver from Greenville, Georgia has had Kentucky on top for nearly a month now, but not has made it official.
"Coach Brooks and Coach Phillips were at the school today," Lashun Watson told Scout.com's Matt Day. "We sat down and talked about everything, and I decided to verbally commit. I just felt comfortable when I was up there on my visit. It felt like home. They have three receivers leaving, and I will get a chance to start right off the bat."
Does Watson still plan to pursue both sports at Kentucky?.
"I'll play basketball and football for one full year. After that I'll decide which sport I'll devote all of my time to."
LaShun told KSR Radio that Auburn offered him a scholarship in football and basketball as well.
