The Indiana Hoosiers dominated the Wildcats on both ends of the court, winning easily by the score of 79-53. The damage for Kentucky came fairly early in the second half as the Hoosiers built an early 16-8 lead and rolled to a 35-19 halftime advantage. The Wildcats would never recover. The Wildcats shot an abysmal 2-23 from three point range, and shot just 34% overall. The Cats would never get any closer than 12 points in the second half.
Marco Killingsworth dominated the game early on the inside. A.J. Ratliff filled it up from the outside. Killingsworth finished the game with 23 points. Ratliff added 21 for the Hoosiers, who have beaten the Wildcats for only the second time in the last 12 meetings. It was the first win over Kentucky by coach Mike Davis.
Rajon Rondo led the Wildcats with 21 points.The Wildcats (6-3) have the week off to prepare for a home game next Saturday against the Louisville Cardinals.
