Taking his second official visit in as many weeks, Seddrick Holloway (5-10, 235) took in the University of Kentucky over the weekend and enjoyed his time in Lexington.
"Man, it was a great visit," Holloway said. "It was a lot of fun. We got to take in the Kentucky-Louisville game. It was really fun. The campus was great, the players were real and the coaches were very down to earth."
The Wildcats are currently in a battle with Alabama, Auburn, Illinois (Visit 12/9), Kansas State and possibly Florida State for Holloway's services. He said although his list is action packed with top programs, UK still remains towards the top of his wish list.
"(The visit) really helped out Kentucky, alot," Holloway stated. "I never looked at them, just because of their record, because that never dictates how good a team they really are. I think at first, I was all about Kentucky and had them number one, but then I had sort of a black-out period where I didn't hear from them, so I was sort of unsure what the deal was."
"Now that I got a chance to go up there and see the school and listen to the coaches and hear how much they really want me," Holloway explained. "It's got me really into Kentucky again and I'd say they are definitely one of my top choices, right now."
Was the visit impressive enough to commit to the Wildcats? "Nah, not yet, I'm still deciding," Holloway explained. "I just wanna weigh my options right now and check out all my schools that are looking at me. I just don't wanna go on just that one visit, I wanna take some others."
Holloway is scheduled to visit Kansas State on January 13th, outside of that, anything can happen according to the 5-foot-10, 235 pound fullback/linebacker prospect.
"There are some others coming up, some other schools that I wanna take a look at," Holloway said. "I'm gonna schedule some more visits, I know that. I'm just not sure where, just yet."
