"He actually decided a couple weeks ago and he decided to go ahead and commit on Tuesday night," Jeff's guardian Dale Futrell told InsideTheVille.com on Thursday afternoon.

Cardinal offensive line coach Mike Summers visited Adams at his school on Wednesday to discuss his academic standing and while he's not yet eligible, Futrell believes the 6-foot-6, 335-pound lineman will be ready when school starts.
"He's just a little bit from being eligible and most that is with his ACT," he explained. "He needs to bring his ACT up and he shouldn't have any problem."
