For those of you who have not yet signed up for Kentucky Sports Report, the magazine, now if a great time to start.

This upcoming issue should be one of the lighter and more entertaining issues of the year. Larry Vaught has provided a really fun piece about Kentucky’s incredible fan base. In addition to the opportunity for Larry to interview some very interesting fans like country music sensation, Eddie Montgomery and Hall of Fame baseball announcer Marty Brennaman, it gives me the opportunity to run pictures of Ashley Judd and Farah Fath, whom Larry also quotes in the magazine What could be better than that?

Also included in this issue is a frank report player report card on the returning Wildcats including perspectives on the strengths and weaknesses from the players themselves. Also included are comments on the players from some of the SEC coaches around the league.

The newest member of our writing team, Wincester Sun sports editor Keith Taylor, profiles Kentuckyfootball standout Lamar Mills, and his personal struggle that he and his family dealt with in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Among the other articles in this issue, Larry Vaught, tells us what is going on with former standout Marquis Estill, who has returned to the University of Kentucky to complete his education and get his degree.

And Larry also does a follow up to last month’s article from last month on new quarterback’s coach Randy Sanders, who left SEC powerhouse Tennessee to help build a winner at Kentucky.

We have some other cool stuff in this issue as well, from Ryan Lemond, our handsome and talented sportscaster from WLEX-18, and from Lonnie Demaree, our not-so-handsome but abundantly talented star of radio and print around the Lexington area. So sit back and enjoy the issue.
