"He's probably going to go to Hargrave Prep School," Bubba Jeter, coach at Troup County HS, said in reference to Demetrius Goode. "He'll make it. He's a tough kid and he'll make it through."
According to Jeter, Goode will be joined at Hargrave by another Troup Co. prospect that Kentucky had previously hosted on an official visit.
"Tyler Darden is going to go up there, for sure," Jeter said. "I'm sure once he gets up there and gets his grades all straightened out, he'll get a bunch of attention, as well."
Goode was arguably Kentucky's top signee from a year ago. He was a PrepStar All-American out of UK's largest pipeline in LaGrange, Ga., rushing for 1,630 yards and 20 touchdowns as a senior, in route to being named the Area Offensive Player of the Year by the LaGrange Daily News.
The first-team all-stater by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Goode chose Kentucky over Southern Mississippi.
