There was some tremendous action at the Reebok Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas today. Here are some of the highlights (and lowlights):

Best Game of the day: Meanstreets Express over the Michigan Hurricanes
The gym was packed. Most people had gotten to Foothill Gym early to get a good seat for the upcoming game between the Southern Cal All Stars and the D1 Greyhounds. But the audience got a real treat watching a good old fashioned shootout with Alex Legion and Darquarvis Tucker going up against Derrick Rose and Eric Gordon. The game was nip and tuck nearly the whole way. But when the bombing was done Rose and Gordon went for 23 and 33 points respectively and the Express put away the Hurricanes by seven.

Worst game of the day: Southern Cal All Stars over the D1 Greyhounds
O.J. Mayo, Bill Walker, Kevin Love, Brandon Jennings. What could be wrong with this game? Well to start, Bill Walker didn't play. He was nursing leg cramps. O.J. Mayo started out 1-7 from the field. The Southern Cal All Stars got a big lift out of the gate from 2009 prospect Renardo Sidney, who scored 9 of the All Stars first 13 points, helping to build an early 9 point lead. O.J. got frustrated and the coach sat him down. Brandon Jennings hit a three to put the lead to 20-6 and the rout was on. When the dust settled, the final score was 84-53.

Best Individual Performances of the day
Derrick Rose – 21 points, 14 rebounds and 12 assists against O.J. Mayo and the D1 Greyhounds.
