'Cats Extend Offers to Catholic Trio

Baton Rouge (La.) Catholic High School has a trio of recruits that have now been offered by Southeastern Conference representative, Kentucky, after just one week ago, Wildcat assistant coach Mike Archer made phone calls to three Catholic standouts - Henry Minor, Jeremy Stewart and defensive end Matthrew Broha - and extended a scholarship offer.

"As of right now the only offer I have is from Kentucky," the 5-foot-10, 170 pound Minor said of the Wildcats, the only current school he is considering to date. "I think that they have come a long way this season, and that it would be a perfect fit for a guy like myself."

The Kentucky coaching staff is looking to bring in the trio of teammates for a visit. According to Minor, he hasn't even thought about the process, yet. "I'm going to stay focused on helping my school get a State Championship," Minor said. "I will take the visits after the season."

Minor plans on making his decision on National Signing Day in February when he and his teammates sign. So far this season, Minor has done as expected for Catholic, starring at running back in a high powered offense. "I have about 500 yards rushing on about 60 carries and about 450 yards recieving on about 15-20 catches."
