"I feel really good about Kentucky," Fischer said. "I got a chance to meet with the coaches, talk with the players and they showed me around. I ate dinner with Coach Phillips and attended team meetings and road with the team to the game on Saturday."
Fischer, who plans on visiting NC State, Maryland, Cincinnati and Vanderbilt the next few weeks, puts academics first on his priority list and came away impressed with the Wildcats devotion to education.
"I came away impressed with the C.A.T.S. center," Fischer said. "Education is very important to me and I liked how important they made that part of the program. I feel like I really clicked with the players and the coaches and would have to say that Kentucky is pretty high on my list, right now."
The 6-foot-6, 300 pound offensive lineman will also visit Vanderbilt December 2nd, Maryland on the 16th and NC State January 20th. Right now he's not been offered by Cincinnati, but is planning on taking a visit to see the Bearcats, as well.
"Not really sure I'm close to making a decision, right now."
