Jenkins has been very productive for Manual in this young season. He is averaging 20.2 points, 6.8 rebounds and 3.2 steals. Jacob has been blistering the nets, shooting a blistering 57.5% from behind the arc.

Jacob's top scoring performance this season was a 31 point outing against North Hardin. In that game, which Manual won 64-53, Jacob showed an all around game as he hit four of six three point attempts, grabbed six rebounds, dished out four assists and added three steals.

In an early season 79-72 win in a showdown with #6 Louisville Doss Jenkins scored 26 points as he hit five three pointers (on six attempts), snared 9 boards, handed out four assists and added two steals, all without a turnover.

Jenkins has already taken unofficial visits to Kentucky, for Big Blue Madness, and Western Kentucky. In addition to the planned second unofficial for the EKU game Jenkins will be scheduling visits to Wisconsin, Xavier and others, as time allows.

Jacob's father, Jeff Jenkins, said that his son currently lists Kentucky, Wisconsin, Indiana, Xavier, Stanford, Western Kentucky, Illinois, and Mississippi State.

Jenkins, who has grown to 6-4, is a young sophomore and will not turn 16 until the end of the current school year.
