"I just got offered by Maryland," Arnold said. "I now got two offers from Kentucky and Maryland."
The Wildcats were the first school to offer Arnold and have remained the perceived leader for his services, but the 6-foot-3, 280 pounder insists he's no lock for Kentucky.
"I like Kentucky, but everybody been going there it seems," Arnold said. "Matt (Lentz) is up there and that's great and stuff, but I kinda wanna do my own thing. It's a good school, it's a good up and coming program."
The Terps didn't enter the race as quick as UK did, but Maryland has caught the attention of the Greenville (SC) native.
"I like Maryland," Arnold said. "When I think about Maryland, I think of there uniforms. They got some of the best jerseys, man."
Growing up a Gamecock fan, Arnold is still waiting for some of his favorites to make a play for his services. Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, Tennessee and Georgia are schools he'd like to hear from.
"I'm gonna take my time and see what happens," Arnold added. "I wanna go somewhere close to my mom, so she can see me play. She supports me alot and has done alot for me and it would mean alot for me to have her be able to come and see me play." "
