Kentucky - Tennessee All-Star Practice Notes

The annual Kentucky-Tennessee high school football all-star game will take place Friday night at 7 p.m. in Commonwealth Stadium. Kentucky will be trying to start a new streak that was snapped at three straight with Tennessee's 14-7 victory over Kentucky last year. KSR's Lonny Demaree takes a look inside practice with some notes and quotes from some of the new Kentucky Wildcat players.

Trinity High School UK signee Ryan Tydlacka will be handling the kicking chores for the Kentucky All-Stars in a Friday matchup against the Tennessee All-Stars. Tydlacka said he is fully aware of UK's Lones Seiber who will be going into his second year as the UK place kicker. He said even if he doesn't beat him out, he wants to put pressure on Seiber. "I came here last year as a senior to football camp and I like the coaches, the program and the SEC," Tydlacka said. The Tydlacka name is synonomous with the University of Louisville since that's where his brother kick footballs. Tydlacka said getting out of the shadow of his brother was not part of his decision to come to UK, he just liked it better at UK, though.
