Jasper undergoes arthroscopic procedure

LEXINGTON, Ky. –Kentucky sophomore men's basketball player Derrick Jasper will spend the rest of the summer recovering from an arthroscopic procedure on his left knee, but is expected to be ready when practice begins in October.

Jasper underwent surgery Friday morning to clean out loose cartilage. The Paso Robles, Calif. native, who started 27 games as a true freshman, is on campus attending summer school.
