After coming in Kentucky camp with offers on the table from Middle Tennessee State and Ole Miss (verbal), Alcoa (Tn.) quarterback/defensive back Randall Cobb left with another.
"I went up there for the Kentucky football camp," Cobb said. "It was a one-day camp, this past weekend and I got an offer afterwards. I played pretty well, I guess."
So what does the two-way athlete think of Lexington?
"I really like it up there, alot," Cobb added, "It also helps them out alot that my best friend and teammate - Kyrus Lanxter - is up there. He's always asking if I've committed yet and if I'm gonna come up there and join him."
The 5-foot-11, 175 pound gunslinger threw for over 1,800 yards and 25 touchdowns as a junior. Impressively, despite throwing the ball a tremendous amount in comparison to other programs in the state of Tennessee, the senior-to-be only threw four interceptions.
"I just wanna make sure I'm 100% before I commit," Cobb said. "I know (Kyrus) wants me up there with him and wants me to play with him in college, but it's a big decision and I just wanna make sure I am 100% sure."
Also making his decision tough is Middle Tennessee State, whose offer has made his choice a tougher one. .
"It's nice up there, too," Cobb expressed. "I really like the coaches a whole lot there. Both places are two nice places and I couldn't go wrong with either."
