Indianapolis (Ind.) quarterback MarQueis Gray has already focused in on a top three and is looking to make a decision soon.
The 6-foot-4, 210 pound dual-threat quarterack has offers from across the country. He talked about what seperated the three schools on his list from others.
"I like Oregon because its different from other schools," Gray said. "It's kinda far away from home and it'd allow me to see what I can do on own. I also like the coaching staff at Oregon."
"Michigan State," Gray described, "I feel the same way about the coaching staff. I like that its in Michigan, also."
"Minnesota, is going to the spead offense," Gray stated. " I really like that offense, because that's what our school plays. Also, they have a new coach that coached Vince Young in college, who just moved there. Basically, there offense is what attracts me to them."
The Ben Davis HS standout threw for 1,115 yards and 12 touchdowns, as a junior, rushing for an additional 759 and six touchdowns on the ground. His first scholarship offers came from the likes of Illinois, Kentucky and Indiana. Are the early front runners, off the list?
"I like em," Gray said, "I like all the schools, but I like the three I said the most."
Closing in on a decision, the Hoosier state standout has a time table for his decision and knows how he'll handle the next few months.
"I'm going to visit those three schools and after I visit those, I will make my choice," Gray said. "It's gonna come down to whether or not I'm gonna get to play or not, how many qbs they are bringing in and stuff like that."
