Lexington (Ky.) is stockpiled with talent this year, in comparison to years past. Part of that success is the rise of nearby Bryan Station HS, that produces not one (D.L. Wilhite), but two division 1a prospects this season.
The second of the duo is Terrell Combs.
Combs is out of position at Bryan Station, playing everything from quarterback to wide receiver to running back since his arrival on the scene. Scouts, in response, are a little unsure where they see his future.
"I play a little bit of everything at Bryan Station," Combs said. "I played a little bit at running back, at quarterback and some wide receiver. I can pretty much play wherever."
Defense is where he feels he's best suited and where recruiters are salivating.
"They say I probably project better on defense," Combs stated. "I didn't play on that side last year, but I think I project better at linebacker than anywhere else. I don't mind hitting people at all."
"I'm gonna wait it out and see who all offers," Combs said. "But I'm looking for the entire package. Academics probably comes first for me, then football."
